Soap Bottle Vase with Newspaper Flowers
For this post, I decided to upcycle two things instead of one. The more, the merrier, right? Anyways, both of these are super easy and add some great color to the non-stop snow. Materials for the soap bottle vase: - an empty soap bottle - paint (I used green, orange, pink, and black) - paint brushes Materials for the newspaper flowers: - newspaper - pencil - scissors - hot glue - a toothpick - pipe cleaner Soap Bottle Vase 1. Make sure you get rid of all of the labels on the bottle. 2. Paint it two shades of green (or whatever color you are using). 3. On the bottom of the bottle, paint some orange dots. 4. Using the pink, paint some petals around the orange dots. 5. I painted black stems for the flowers because my bottle was green, but you can use other colors if you wish. 6.
