Fairy Jar Lantern

Fairies are always adorable, so I used an empty jar to create a lantern with them! It is really easy, and
it looks great in the dark!

Materials:
- an empty plastic jar
- white and black paint
- paint brushes
- fairy silhouettes cutouts (you can print them off the Internet)
- sponge (optional)
- masking tape or hot glue
- a battery-operated candle

1. Make sure your jar is clean and doesn't have any labels. You don't want labels covering the fairies!

2. Use a sponge or paintbrush to dab white paint on the inside of the jar. It is better to use a sponge because paintbrush strokes don't create a fairytale effect in the jar.

3. Use either masking tape or glue to stick the fairy silhouettes inside of the jar. make sure that the silhouettes are facing towards the plastic.

This is what the jar looks like in the dark without grass.

4. Paint black grass on the inside of the jar. You don't have to, but it looks nice. You can also add stars, but my hand is too shaky to paint them.

5. And you're done! This is a great idea to use as either a night light or just as decoration outside at night!

  4. These are so cool! Too bad Halloween already passed, or I would have made some to put outside.
